HRiT
Through industry consultation with Security trainers, Law enforcement professionals and customer demand we identified the need to be able to provide a specialist Unit, we have identified these team members as HRiT Officers, these teams of a minimum of two operatives are specialist dedicated career officers that have extensive law enforcement. military or hold extensive career based qualifications, long term industry experience or Police approved trainers.
These are individuals that are chosen through a detailed selection process and resumes are provided to our clients on deployment. HRit Officerto minimum of First Aid level 3, and equipped with advanced Medical Kits, Automatic External Defibrillators and Oxygen Delivery Equipment, these teams are an excellent first aid/first response asset. However they are also trained in advanced defensive Techniques and Advanced Conflict resolution. They are also equipped with Protective vests (stab and ballistic proof), Stab resistant gloves, batons, handcuffs and other equipment as the task requires. This enables us to provide a highly visible, highly mobile first aid/first response asset that also has an extended high capability security asset in the one unit. The tasks can be separated so that they can be just first aid or just security. They also have access to the Response Unit vehicles that can be used to patrol large venues and their perimeters as well as carrying the extra equipment.
These units have become very popular at major events. They are used to escort the event medical teams to any casualty within the venue. This allows the medical staff to concentrate solely on the casualty while the APU's provide security for them, keep them from being jostled and harrassed. Alternately the APU's can meet the medical staff at the casualty, secure the area and start first aid until the medics arrive. This ensures that the medics arrive at a secure area and can start work immediately. The APU's remain with the medics to ensure that they can evacuate the casualty without difficulty.APU's also provide perimeter security by patroling outside the venue in vehicles. Communicating by radio they constantly patrol to keep the area clear of fence jumpers trying to enter the venue without paying, and also preventing them from injuring themselves in the process. The APU's also help keep loitering groups of youths from causing trouble outside the venue by maintaining a continuous, highly visible presence in the patrol vehicles and on foot when necessary
